Label Descriptionclassification Of Commonly Used Textile Fabrics
According to the fiber raw materials of the fabric: natural fiber fabric, chemical fiber fabric. Natural fiber fabrics include cotton fabric, hemp fabric, wool fabric, silk fabric, etc.; Chemical fibers include man-made fibers and synthetic fibers, so chemical fiber fabrics have artificial fiber fabrics and synthetic fiber fabrics, artificial fiber fabrics include we are familiar with artificial cotton (viscose fabric), rayon fabric and viscose fiber blended fabrics. Synthetic fiber fabrics are polyester fabric, acrylic fabric, nylon fabric, spandex elastic fabric and so on. Here are some common fabrics.
Natural Fabric
1. Cotton fabric: refers to the fabric with cotton as the main raw material. Because of good air permeability, good moisture absorption and comfortable wearing, it is widely popular with people.
2. Hemp fabric: fabric woven with hemp fiber as the main raw material. Hemp fabric is characterized by hard and tough texture, rough and stiff, cool and comfortable, good moisture absorption, is an ideal summer clothing fabric.
3. Wool fabric: It is made of wool, rabbit hair, camel hair, wool-type chemical fiber as the main raw materials, generally wool-based, generally used as high-grade clothing fabrics in winter, with good elasticity, anti-wrinkle, crisp, wear and wear resistance, strong warmth, comfortable and beautiful, pure color and other advantages.
4. Silk fabric: It is a high-grade variety of textiles. It mainly refers to the fabric made of mulberry silk and tussah silk as the main raw materials. It has the advantages of thin, light, soft, smooth, elegant, gorgeous and comfortable.
Chemical Fiber Fabric
1. Artificial cotton (viscose fabric) : soft luster, soft feel, good moisture absorption, but poor elasticity, poor wrinkle resistance.
2. Rayon fabric: Silk luster bright but not soft, bright colors, feel smooth, soft, drapes strong, but not as light and elegant as real silk.
3. Polyester fabric: It has high strength and elastic resilience. Fast and durable, no ironing, easy to wash and dry. However, the moisture absorption is poor, wearing a stuffy feeling, easy to produce static electricity and dust contamination.
4. Acrylic fabric: known as "artificial wool", bright color, wrinkle resistance, heat preservation are good, while with light and heat resistance, light quality, but poor moisture absorption, wearing a dull feeling.
5. Nylon fabric: nylon strength, good wear resistance, ranking first among all fibers; The elasticity and elastic recovery of nylon fabric are very good, but it is easy to deform under small external force, so the fabric is easy to wrinkle during wearing. Poor ventilation, easy to produce static electricity; Its hygroscopic property is a better variety in synthetic fibers, so the clothing made of nylon is more comfortable than polyester clothing.
6. Spandex elastic fabric: Spandex is a polyurethane fiber with excellent elasticity. General products do not use 100% polyurethane, and more than 5% of the fabric is mixed in order to improve the elasticity of the fabric, which is suitable for tights.
According to the raw material of yarn: pure textile, blended fabric and mixed fabric.
Pure Fabric
The warp and weft yarns of a fabric are composed of a single material. Such as cotton fabrics woven with natural fibers, hemp fabrics, silk fabrics, wool fabrics, etc. It also includes pure chemical fiber fabrics woven with chemical fibers, such as rayon, polyester silk, acrylic cloth, etc. The main feature is to reflect the basic properties of its constituent fibers.
Blended Fabric
A fabric made of yarn blended from two or more fibers of the same or different chemical compositions. The main feature of the blended fabric is to reflect the superior properties of various fibers in the raw materials to improve the wear performance of the fabric and expand the applicability of its clothing. Varieties: hemp/cotton, wool/cotton, wool/hemp/silk, wool/polyester, polyester/cotton and so on.
Interweave
Fabric warp and weft raw materials are different, or one group of warp and weft yarn is a filament yarn, a group is a short fiber yarn, woven fabric. The basic properties of the interleaved material are determined by different kinds of yarns, which generally have different characteristics of warp and weft. Its varieties have silk wool interwoven, silk cotton interwoven and so on.
According to the fabric structure: plain cloth, twill cloth, satin cloth, etc.
Plain Cloth
The basic characteristics of plain cloth are the use of plain weave, yarn in the fabric interweaving points, the fabric is crisp and firm, better than other fabric of the same specification wear resistance, high strength, uniform and the front and back of the same.
Twill
A variety of twill structures are used to make the surface of the fabric appear diagonal lines composed of long floating lines of warp or weft. The texture is slightly thicker and softer than plain cloth, the surface gloss is better, the front and back lines are inclined to the opposite, and the front lines are clear.
Satin Cloth
Using a variety of satin fabric, the warp or weft has a long floating line covering the surface of the fabric, smooth and glossy along the direction of the floating yarn, soft and relaxed, the pattern is more three-dimensional than the twill fabric.
According to the method of forming fabric processing: woven fabric, knitted fabric, nonwoven fabric.
Woven Fabric
Fabric made of warp and weft processed by shuttleless or shuttleless looms. The main feature of the fabric is that there is a warp and a weft. When the warp and weft material, yarn count and density of the fabric are different, the fabric shows anisotropy. Including plain fabric and jacquard fabric.
Knitted Fabric
Refers to the use of one or a group of yarn as raw materials, with a weft knitting machine or warp knitting machine to form a coil nested fabric. According to the processing method, it can be divided into single-sided weft (warp) knitted fabrics and double-sided weft (warp) knitted fabrics.
Nonwoven Fabric
Refers to the traditional spinning, weaving process, by fiber layer through bonding, fusion or other methods and directly constituted textiles.
